Wavertree Hall Open Schooling Days Series:
**Our Last OPEN SCHOOLING DAY CHANGED TO SUNDAY OCT 23rd**

Sun Oct 23rd
- 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Includes use of: Entire Cross Country Course: Introductory Novice through Preliminary levels (18” through 3’7”, including Bank Complex), Large Outdoor Show Jump Arena, Full Dressage Court, and Round-Pen Jump Chute
- $35/horse – draw checks to “Wavertree Hall Equestrian Center”
- Protective headgear must be worn & secured when mounted. All riders must wear ASTM/SEI approved helmets.
- Safety vests and medical armbands are not required but are strongly encouraged to be worn when schooling.
- All riders must be supervised by a parent or coach of legal age while schooling, and/or be accompanied by an unmounted adult while on course. This information to be written on registration form upon arrival.
- All riders must sign a Wavertree Hall Release form upon arrival; parents or guardians must sign for minors.
- Current negative Coggins required for each horse, to be shown at arrival
- EMT will be on grounds or on call
Entrance for parking is on Plank
Road, park at top of field - Directions & map:
From the West (I-81, Staunton):
Take 64 E to exit 99 (Afton). Turn right onto 250 E, proceed 4 miles
to Rte. 692 (Plank Rd.). Turn right onto Plank, and proceed 2.6 mi -
look for signs to parking on the right-hand side.
From the East (Richmond):
Take 64 W to exit 107 (Crozet). Turn left onto 250 W, proceed 3.9 mi
to left on 692 (Plank Rd.). Proceed on Plank 2.6 mi - look for signs
to parking on the right-hand side.
From the North (Harrisonburg, Charlottesville):
Take either I-81 S or 29 S to 64, proceed as above.
From the South (Lynchburg):
Take 29 N into Albemarle County, take a left onto route 692 (Plank
Rd.). Proceed 7 mi (through Batesville), pass Wavertree Hall sign @
Kingsway Rd and look for signs to Park at top of field on left.

Wavertree Hall would like to thank the Virginia Horse Trials (Penny & Brian Ross!) for organizing this years fall Horse Trials, Tootie for supplying the fantastic food, Ginny Wardell for setting up the jewelry booth, all of the Va. Horse Trials Volunteers who dedicated their time to run the show, Judges April Rivers & Muffin Pantaze, and all of the great Competitors and Horses that took part in this beautiful day!!!! Congrats!!
